I’m an insomniac, a writer, an artist ans a photographer. By no means a professional one – but I do take my work seriously… well. as seriously as it requires. I role play online almost as much as I breathe and love mythical and preternatural creatures more than words can explain.I’m probably a little off my rocker, but most of the time I enjoy it.

I have cats. Many, many cats. Or six or so at least. Either way. I couldn’t live without my cats and they get into many of my photos – so expect to see them from time to time.

About Witch Winter:

Despite being a summer babe, I feel myself drawn more to the darker and colder months of the year. To see the beauty in the earth when her bones are bared to the dawning sky and all façades are stripped away. I’ve grown up seeing grey winters without snow and they allow you to see the earth bare and naked to the human eye and there’s a certain beauty in death. The witch part is because I’m a.. well. Witch. I’m a Pagan of an eclectic nature… solitary due to location more than desire but happy with it nonetheless. Photography is how I explore the beauty of the world, the smaller details and the things I find interesting. WW is a photoblog of a sort, if you will.

I take the photos with my Canon Powershot A590 camera, though some older ones I add from time to time are from my old Powershot or Olympus. The photos on here obviously aren’t true polaroids and are made with the wonderful software from Poladroid. Thanks Guys!
